Just a temporary note...

I just wanted to say, that before we left for China, I had accumulated almost 70(!) more quilt fabrics and blessings!!!!!!! However, with the brake-neck pace of packing, etc., I didn't have time to post them....Soooooo, when I get home, it is one of the many things I want to catch up on. The fabrics and corresponding blessings are beautiful beyond description, and so deserving of being shared here. So, to those of you who gave them, hang on...when I get home from China, I will get them on here. And THANK YOU all so much who have blessed her already! I'm speechless by what all you've said...Love to all from China!

The Shores Family's Wish...

This sweet fabric and wish were sent by our friend, Lynn Shores and her family. They are friends from school, as well as dear patients of Phillip's. Lynn, Steve and Margaret, thank you!!

Pennie's Wish...

This fabric was given by my friend, the multi-talented and oh-so-creative Pennie Aust. It is so appropriate, for she is a musical genius! She and her sweet hubbie, Billy, have been our friends for about 20 years. They were married on the very same night we were, at the very same time! Thank you, Pennie!!

The Williams' Family Wish...

My friend, Jodi Williams, just dropped by with this sweet fabric. The words on the pink fabric are "faith, hope, love and charity." We met Jodi when her son, Harrison, and Tyler were in Kindergarten together. Later, her son, Lee, became friends with Nolan. Richard, Jodi, and the boys have been long-time patients of Phillip's and we treasure these sweet friends. Thank you, Richard, Jodi, Harrison and Lee!!

The Baskin Family's Wish...

This bright pink, daisy fabric was given by the Baskin Family, who have been our long-time friends, and used to be our next-door neighbors. We have many fun memories together with all of them! Thank you, Don, Bev, Donnie, Danielle, Andrew and Ashley!!

Sha's Wish...

This cute, daisy fabric was given by my dear friend, Sha, who is one of my long-time "beach" friends. Though we don't get to see much of each other, we definitely catch up on our crazy trips to Destin every year. She's so much fun! Thank you, Sha!!

Ashley's Wish...

This ladybug fabric was given by our friend, Ashley Baskin, also known to us as "Fuzzy Louise!" She is the daughter of the Baskin family, who we used to live next-door to. I used to keep her and her twin brother, Andrew, in the church nursery when they were babies, and now they are 19!! Thank you, Ashley!

The Farley's Wish...

This fabric was given by my friend, Jennifer Farley, and her family who are all friends of ours' from school. Her son, Ben, is in class with Tyler and her daughter, Kate, is in Nolan's class. Her sweet hubbie, Tim, built Phillip's beautiful office! Thank you, Farleys!!

Steven and Sarah's Wish...

This fabric was given to Macy Li from Steven and his new wife, Sarah Ross. Steven is our adopted BIG son. He used to "babysit" our boys (play 24/7 knee-football, Madden, NCAA, etc.) when he was in high school and in college....They are now all like brothers. Thank you, Steven and Sarah!

The Knell Family's Wish...

This "castle" fabric was just brought over by my friend, Lee Ann. Her Katie is in Nolan's class and her Sam is in Peyton's class. I love what she said about our "heavenly home" being our true castle. Thank you, Lee Ann, Keith, Katie, Andrew, and Sam!

The Warner Family's Wish...

This wish is from my childhood friend, Melissa. We were like sisters growing up. I used to terrorize her with my pranks, sneaking up on her at night through the back yard and scaring her half to death! Our backyards were adjacent and we literally grew up together, her being an "only child" and me being one until Jennifer was born when I was 12...Thank you, Melissa, Mac, Sarah and Allison!

My Wishes...

Now, of course I couldn't do just one, so.....Also, I have yet to write out the corresponding blessings, but when I do, I'll come back here and post those with the pictures.

Aunt Peggy Sue's Wish...

This fabric and wish were sent by my Aunt Peggy, my mom's sister here in Nashville. She and my mom, together, take care of my 99-year-old (!) grandmother!!! They're saints! Love you and thank you, Aunt Peggy!

Kim's Wish...

This cute little paw-print fabric was sent by another cousin in Memphis. She's my 2nd cousin I think. Thank you, Ashley!

Aunt Dorothy's Wish...

This cute fabric and scripture verse was sent from my Aunt Dorothy, who is my mom's sister in Memphis. When she, Aunt Nancy, Aunt Peggy Sue, and my mom get together, they're dangerous! They'll all probably leave this world laughing their heads off! Love you and thank you, Aunt Dot!

Jennifer's Wish...

This fabric and scripture was sent my Jennifer, the daughter of my first cousin, Jackie, also in Memphis. From what I hear, Jennifer and the whole family got together this past weekend and did all these. Thank you, Jennifer!

Dalton, Dustin, and Michael's Wish...

This darling little ocean fabric was sent by Dalton, Dustin, and Michael (more distant cousins in Memphis). It's sad to say, but I really don't even know them, except through stories from my mom...Anyway, how sweet to jump in on welcoming Macy Li, who you don't even know either! Thank you, boys!

Ashley's Wish...

This cute fairy/princess fabric was sent from Macy Li's little 3rd cousin in Memphis, Ashley. I think she and all the "Memphis cousins" must have all had a little craft session...tee hee! Thanks, Ashley!

Danielle's Wish...

This oh-so-cute fabric was sent by Mason, Danielle, and Ava Hunter. Danielle used to work for Phillip before she was a mommy! Thank you, Danielle!
